Upcoming Movie Herbie! Every day, we hear people wishing for things' items that we would like to see happen, things we are going to do someday and stuff that should go our way. It seems that the second these wishes are uttered, anyone expressing these wishes enjoys a family member peace of mind that temporarily satisfies the speakers yen. In parallel, the speaker feels that this world has now been notified that:
O We are worth it
O It is mine for that taking
O I am successful
These wishful words are usually, generally however, a verbal and mental sedative that give us an incorrect sense of impending achievement as countless wishes rarely materialize.
I saw a saying long ago that was so simple'. but when I read it'. I knew it had some meaning that demanded I change my very own habits.
'Happy are the types who dream dreams, and they are ready to spend the money for price include them as come true.'
I took a double accept those words and committed these to memory possibly at that instant vowed that I would talk to conviction in everything I did, knowing full well that I would need to 'pay an amount.' The price could possibly be time, it might be money or it may be sacrificing old habits and pleasurable.
I did not know what that meant at that time but knew that something needed to be changed. Soon thereafter I was introduced, in a very specialized training course, for an audiotape from Denis Waitley who is known across the world, major corporations and the US Olympic Committee just as one authority in Personal Development. My initial skepticism from the need for such listening was met using a feeling of' 'this can be so simple, it is just common sense' and figured I had mastered everything that needed to be mastered. To my surprise, every day of a 5-day training course required a separate listening to Denis's audio tapes and I quickly remarked that 'Common Sense' is really not that common in fact.
No wonder Denis Waitley, Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy, Napoleon Hill et al are leaders inside $8 Billion Dollar Personal Development market! I left that Training program and purchased most of Denis's work and over the years I added more experts work into my personal collection of tapes & books.
Wishing for fulfillment, and committing oneself to success are two completely different things and carry two very different energy levels. The 'wish' element can be a passive utterance that carries a hopeful desire a thief, or something like that will be prepared to help us achieve our expressed thought. The 'commitment' element however draws from an inner power source which when properly articulated, committed and acted upon has the power to drive us' and also the power to alert the world that we have been on a mission. With Persistence, Perspiration and Passion, the three PPP's, we can easily in fact make our dreams come true.
Churches everywhere remind us all of what I will term wise practice values that we should follow; it is not rocket science. Yet even with this good sense teaching we still go back to church and therefore are constantly reminded. By the same token, making use of our very own mental state to condition our thought process to be independent, strong, tenacious and committed requires training, and guidance.
If you have dreams of your own that you want to be realized, the chance to make those dreams come true starts in the human body. It is usually clouded though, and suppressed. It needs to get awakened. Leverage the experience and guidance of other people who have learned to overcome fears, establish direction and adopt a burning desire to the attainment of these aspirations.
A simple method to develop an organized plan and to condition your mind for achievement is to create a one-way communication plan with experts on the weekly, or monthly basis. Set time aside, look for a book and invite these authors into your individual home and allow them tell you where did they achieved success and what you can do to obtain similar results.
