The free books are actually books kids might enjoy reading and can include Miss Daisy is Crazy! by Dan Gutman, Dear Mr. Henshaw by Beverly Cleary and Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown, and others.
Barnes and Noble Free Book
Barnes and Noble also provides a free book program for kids come july 1st. Children who provide the titles of 8 books they've read may select a selection of 28 books aimed at audiences from preschool through grade 6. Among the free books on Barnes and Nobles' list are The Cricket in Times Square by George Selden, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH by Robert C. O'Brien, and My Last Best Friend by Julie Bowe.

IBC Bakery Goodies for Good Grades
IBC bakeries give you a baked good to kids whose final report card for your school year shows good grades. Check the IBC website for participating bakeries.
Topps Top in the Class Rewards
For a non-edible high gpa's award, try the Topps Top with the Class program which offers kids a no cost trading card upon presenting their report cards. The Topps website lists the Topps locations by state.
