Where Is My Video Download Icon! Play all your media in iTunes on your television using your Xbox 360 games console.
iTunes has become a huge source for users to keep and download their media. It was baffling why a program to stream iTunes content on Xbox 360 was not ever made with the release of Microsoft's console. Those times have ended now with the introduction of Connect360 from Nullriver Software.
Connect360 is often a system preference that one could launch in your Mac that can connect in your Xbox 360 via a wireless connection or even an ethernet cable, and that will stream your media files for your Xbox 360. The process takes next to nothing to set up. Once the program is installed in your Mac you merely go to System Preferences high it is. It will automatically detect the skills you want to stream, which isn't just iTunes. It will also consider your Movies and iPhoto folders as well.
When you begin your Xbox 360 track of the Connect360 running you are going to hear a notification ring helping you discover that the two devices are synced. Once you hear that noise all you have to do is go to your Xbox media files and click on whatever you desire, whether it is videos, photos or music.
The wonderful thing about the Connect360 is that it does permit streaming both wirelessly or wired. So you don't need to have your computer hooked up in your Xbox 360, nor does it even have to take the same room. That makes it an incredible for a living room playing device for your videos.
Connect360 doesn't come without its flaws however. There were numerous times I noticed this software did not recognize a lot of my files. These problems mostly apparently occur when searching for files inside my movies folder. It does well picking up your iTunes media, but when you have files other then MP4 is when you may encounter difficulties.
With that said it is still quite a reliable program and is also well worth your $20. If you do run into any issues, Nullriver Software has a support link on the site to try to answer your question. If you are still unsure, almost always there is the much loved demo version of this system. This allows you to use its features, however, you are limited by a certain number of songs, movies and photos.
Connect360 is often a great addition in your Mac application library. If you download movies heavily and desire not to burn all those DVD's then this is really a great program to checkout.
