I was very surprised to see that someone was claiming to stream my movie" Dead Hollywood Blondes" for users on a site called "watchallyoucan.com" .
I knew which was impossible as I had not licensed it to them and it is inaccessible to public use.
So I clicked looking for the contact info in order to pass it on to my attorney as I would not want innocent website visitors to think they were going to view something which just isn't there and that's called "false advertising:" As I clicked I was taken to more sites which asked the consumer to enter their plastic card information so that you can get access to a place where they are able to supposedly watch my movie!
Well, I knew it was a lie and I was confident fraud was involved.
I visited all the links with various phone numbers plus they all brought me on the same 800 hot line with similar English accent. They are cinamuse.com, movielush, movies.com and vidcube to name just a few.
When I called to question where my attorney should send correspondence the female operators explained Canada. I shared with her they must also have an agent of service in the USA. No luck there she just kept saying we're in Canada.
I then clicked on consumer reporting sites which claimed that customers were charged all different kinds of amounts similar to this unhappy customer I found online scamchecker.com:

On 11Th October I supplied my credit card details to this particular website around the proviso that my account WILL NOT be debited without my permission. Despite their assurance my card was debited AUS $36.98 anyway, broke supplied inturn. I was ripped off and this website must be investigated asap and monies refunded. I am angry that many other people should have been robbed at the same time.
(Another unhappy customer on yahoo.com's "Ask a question" website reported a similar thing.)
I would want to warn you that:
1. I know for a fact that my movie is not on these web streaming sites. When I called customer support the rep admitted it wasn't there as they only screen " old movies."
2. From what I can inform they ask your permission to charge your card just for this " free service" and I imagine they hope you will forget about it or not notice it
3. These places now have your personal credit information forever!
4. My web security warned me that the security certificate on several of the sites wasn't secure.
Please be super careful when wanting to watch movies free of charge.
It may cost you your security as well as perhaps even some hard earned dough.
I would rate these types of services an F for fraudulent and dubious business practices from my own personal observation.
I would advise HULU and Netflicks. Go with someone you can rely on.
There a wide range of scam artists waiting to market you a service which is just not all it's cracked up to be.
I do not know who is behind many of these services such as cinamuse but I suspect they're pulling useless like whenever they pretend to screen movies through the IMDB database where they enter it on then only make an effort to gather your credit card data to charge it or even worse.
